What's in a name?
One of the few passages I memorized as a child was from Romeo & Juliet. "O Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo? Deny thy father and refuse thy name; or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love and I'll no longer be a capulet...What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet:...Romeo, doff thy name and for thy name, which is no part of thee, take all myself."
Despite what Juliet claims, names do define us. So as Data Designs has grown, we thought it appropriate for our name to reflect our new services as well as those we've offered for the past twenty years. Data Designs Publishing makes it clear that we are more than just a desktop publishing firm. We now publish books as well. You'll see more about this new venture on the site soon.
