We’ve been in the desktop publishing business almost as long as the career field has existed. Founded in 1988, we have grown along with the changes in technology. Being almost twenty years old is a real rarity in the desktop publishing industry. We’re proud of our age!
We have an extensive resume of projects from businesses and organizations of all sizes. Our projects have included creation of documents for publication via conventional print media, CD-ROM, and the Internet.
How We Differ From Other Firms • Our desktop publishing specialty is long documents. Most desktop publishing firms specialize in short pieces such as brochures, newsletters, and design work. Our focus on long documents allows us to implement efficiencies that save you time and money on your biggest projects. It’s also why we’re in the book publishing business. Whether your project is a catalog or a book, we can bring it to print cost effectively. • We’ll work with you the way you want to work.. We’ll be happy to work with your staff and provide whatever publishing related services you need. Sometimes we take a project from inception to completion, including all planning and writing. Other times, we provide only layout and printing preparation support. Some customers ask only that we prepare their files for the printing service bureau. • Most of our work is done on a PC because we primarily work for PC-based business clients. Over the years they have expressed a strong preference for keeping their files on a PC-based desktop publishing system. Yes, we have a Mac, but most of our work is done on a PC. • Our staff brings a combination of detail orientation and the vision to see the "big picture," enabling us to manage every aspect of your project from conception to final distribution. • We are a company of down-to-earth people who strive to provide the highest quality product to our customers at the most reasonable price. • Our incorporated name is The Shekinah Group, Inc. (No one else can claim that!) And in case you were trying to pronounce it, it’s sounds a bit like "she kinda" (without the "d"). |
